Johnshaven - Golspie

This morning we leave straight after breakfast for the nearby Dunnottar Castle. The view of the castle is breathtaking, we are literally surrounded by the beautiful landscape - from high cliffs to green hills and a clear blue sea, everything was there. We enjoy the nature around the castle and take many photos and drone videos. After visiting the Castle, our route takes us across the National Park where we enjoy the nature and fresh air. There are so many beautiful landscapes to see that we can't get enough of them. On the way we also see some Scottish highland cows. Next, we set ourselves the goal of finally taking a high-resolution picture of Nessie, the Loch Ness monster, to dispel the uncertainties about its existence based on the poor-resolution photos currently existing. Therefore, we made our way to the famous Loch Ness to first visit Urquart Castle. The castle, however, was a real tourist trap. We have hardly ever seen so many tourists in the same place on our trip to Scotland. And the castle was not even well preserved. The view of Loch Ness was interesting, though. Of course, we took a few photos again. Afterwards we went to our new Airbnb in Golspie. We were kindly received by a nice elderly lady, the owner of the house. We did some shopping on the way and then had dinner in our room, which we enjoyed very much.
