Oldshoremore - Stoer Lighthouse - Ullapool

Our Airbnb host Monica served us a very nice and hearty breakfast, which strengthened us for the day. The first thing we did was visit Oldshoremore Beach. It was very windy and rainy, which was a bit of a shame as the beach would have otherwise looked like paradise with its bright blue, clear water and white sand. Nevertheless, it was an impressive experience to watch the wild waves. Next, we made our way to Stoer Lighthouse. The road there was very narrow and winding, and we had a truck in front of us and a sheep behind us when we tried to reverse. It was a challenge, but well worth it for the views! Although we didn't quite make it to the Old Man of Stoer as the path was too muddy, we had a great view of the lighthouse. We then drove on towards Ullapool. We did some shopping and refuelled before driving to our next Airbnb. There we enjoyed a nice aperitif and let the day end.
