Knuten
The easiest hike we've ever done in Norway: in barely 15 minutes we're on top of Knuten, looking out over Mefjordvær, the sea and misty mountains. Afterwards we chat with our landlady at the Senja Lounge café and wind down the day with red curry and photo editing.
We take the morning relaxed again, because the weather is not so good. We have a unhurried breakfast and still continue to edit our photos. Around noon we see a few rays of sunshine, so we head out right away and do the closest easy hike to Knuten Mountain. The hike is truly the easiest we have done in Norway so far. It takes just under 15 minutes and there is actually a recognizable trail! The view from the top is very nice, we look at the village of Mefjordvær, the sea and misty mountains.
The sun is gone as fast as it came. It starts to drizzle and we leave Knuten again. On the way back we visit the cafe Senja Lounge, where our landlady works. We chat a bit with her and then after a little shopping in the only grocery store far and wide we drive back to our accommodation. Annina attends a meeting from her work, Nicolas edits photos and videos. We cook a red curry together and continue to edit our photos afterwards. Tomorrow we have to leave rather early, so we still clean up everything and prepare for a long day.
